I have some maps which are about sixteen times USA letter size 34 x 44 inches. I wanted to ask what are my options for scanning these documents, if I can have them scanned in one piece, where can I go how much should I expect to pay and about how large should the file size be for a jpg file.

If I can't scan them one pice is the a image joining program that could perfectly join overlapping segments of the same image.

The most cost effective is probably to go to a shop that does it. I don't know if Kinkos has scanners that can handle that.
